Golf Tournament Update

Our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament was held at the Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Georgetown on Saturday, August 27th and we are pleased to announce that $4,115 was raised to support the Upper Credit Humane Society!!

2011 Wishbone Campaign Update!

Thank you to all the businesses and individuals that participated in the UCHS’s Wishbone campaign which ran from July 1^st to July 31^st 2011! 

This year we raised $1044 which will go towards helping to pay for the new air conditioning and heating unit which desperately needed to be replaced in order to keep our furry residents comfortable!

Congratulations to the Glen Oven Bakery which raised the most funds for the campaign at $221!

3rd Annual Poker Ride 4 Paws 7/10/11

Hello riders!


The Upper Credit Humane Society (UCHS) is holding its 3rd Annual Poker Ride 4 Paws! Please join us on Sunday July 10 at the Peel Regional Police Association (10675 Mississauga Road, Brampton) - registration at 11am and the ride starts at noon!

Entry fee is $25 for riders, $10 for passengers but if you raise $75 or more in pledges you ride FREE!

Prize for the person who brings in the most pledges!

Cash bar, 50/50 Draw, BBQ, Raffle prizes

The UCHS does not receive any government funding and relies on donations as well as fundraising to continue providing care for the animals in our community. All proceeds go towards supporting the shelter and the animals.

Pet Valu Pet Appreciation Weekend April 9th & 10th

Pet Valu Appreciation Weekend April 9th and 10th, helping homeless pets
with all proceeds donated to pet charities and -shelters with a goal to
raise $250,000.00 chain-wide. Pet Valu Milton is donating proceeds to UCHS. Gwen, Robin and Attie will be showcased during the weekend of April 9th and 10th!!

Spay/Neuter Raffle Winner!!

Congratulations to our latest spay/neuter raffle winner: Gary & Brenda Ball! They will be getting their dog Jessie spayed using the proceeds.
