Spay/Neuter Raffle Winner's Thank You

To whom it may concern: I am sending you a huge belated thank you! Sorry I am so late in sending this message but summertime in the country means a ton of work!  Mother Nature has not been on my side this summer due to a great deal of rain in the latter months and a tornado that took our community by surprise on September 1.  So much extra work to do.  I am sending you all this thank you for the draw you had for a spay or neuter gift certificate.  I feel very blessed that the winner donated me the gift certificate.  After they heard my story they felt obliged to donate it to me.

Golf Tournament Update

2011 Wishbone Campaign Update!

Thank you to all the businesses and individuals that participated in the UCHS’s Wishbone campaign which ran from July 1^st to July 31^st 2011! 

This year we raised $1044 which will go towards helping to pay for the new air conditioning and heating unit which desperately needed to be replaced in order to keep our furry residents comfortable!

3rd Annual Poker Ride 4 Paws 7/10/11

Hello riders!


The Upper Credit Humane Society (UCHS) is holding its 3rd Annual Poker Ride 4 Paws! Please join us on Sunday July 10 at the Peel Regional Police Association (10675 Mississauga Road, Brampton) - registration at 11am and the ride starts at noon!

Entry fee is $25 for riders, $10 for passengers but if you raise $75 or more in pledges you ride FREE!

Prize for the person who brings in the most pledges!

Cash bar, 50/50 Draw, BBQ, Raffle prizes

The UCHS does not receive any government funding and relies on donations as well as fundraising to continue providing care for the animals in our community. All proceeds go towards supporting the shelter and the animals.

Pet Valu Pet Appreciation Weekend April 9th & 10th

Pet Valu Appreciation Weekend April 9th and 10th, helping homeless pets
with all proceeds donated to pet charities and -shelters with a goal to
raise $250,000.00 chain-wide. Pet Valu Milton is donating proceeds to UCHS. Gwen, Robin and Attie will be showcased during the weekend of April 9th and 10th!!

The UCHS has been picked by the Global Pet Foods in Georgetown as one of the charities to receive funds raised from the Show Us Your Heart Campaign. Thrift Shop Anniversary!

The Thrift Shop (Moore Park Plaza) will be celebrating its 4th anniversary on Saturday, February 26 from 10am to 3pm. There will be door prizes, raffles, and light refreshments and visits from many past residents that have found wonderful homes through our shelter, including Trooper Fund Recipients Petunia the Pug and Samantha (formerly Diva) the cat!!  We hope to see you there!
